Forever and a Day enhances marriages in many ways:

  • Couples read the book together, a chapter at a time and use the Discussion/Dialogue questions to start their dialogue
  • As a source for small groups. The chapter questions stimulate couple and group discussion.
  • A popular wedding gift.
  • Pastors give a copy to each couple in their parish marriage preparation program.
  • In a Couples Night Out program, couples attend Saturday evening Mass, then gather for a short presentation on a chapter before going out to dinner. The parish provides babysitting.

Forever and a Day should be read by

Couples of all ages and years of marriage for inspiration and insights to enhance and to celebrate their love.

Newlyweds looking for models of good marriages and practical ways to create a great marriage of their own.

Couples preparing for marriage see the effort and commitment required to create a marriage that lasts, and find hope for their future together.

Reader Comments

Forever and a Day is a wonderful tool to help a good marriage become a great marriage. My wife and I would discuss the exercises after our kids were in bed; and journeying through the process of the book helped us rediscover some of the things that helped us fall in love in the first place.

We have only been married for one month, and the questions at the end of each selection are allowing us to get to know one another even more so than we believed. The best part about this book is that it allows the couple to focus on their relationship in multiple levels — it definitely forces each person to think critically about their actions to the other.
